The Public Prosecution was formed as an independent department based on the decision of His Highness the late Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may Allah have mercy on him, as per the Law No. 8 of the year 1992.
Public Prosecution was established to achieve judicial justice with respect to the public right of the Emirate.
